THE ECOLOGICAL CONDITIONALITY OF TREE VITALITY INDICATORS AND DENDROMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE WOODY PLANTS COMMUNITY GROWING NATURALLY ON THE DEVASTATED LANDS IN IRON WASTE ROCK DUMP

Introduction. Numerous researchers have ?onvincingly proven that iron waste rock dumps a strong and negative impact on the environment in industrial areas. While tree revegetation is most efficient, effective widely accepted way for environmental stabilization of said post-mining landforms. That’s why knowledge relationships between current state woody plants community harsh conditions play an important role pollution control, ecological protection, safe-guarding human health. Aim. The object this study was to analyze from standpoint ecosystem approach conditionality state, vitality dendrometric parameters) growing naturally devastated lands dump. Material Methods. Petrovsky dump areas at Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Mining & Metallurgical District (central part Ukraine) were chosen present research. During 2017–2021, 5 research plots (40*50 m) established dump’s ecosystems field data (tree species, vitality, mean diameter height trees, volume, basal area) collected through direct enumeration measurement all trees each plot. Pearson Spearman correlative analysisbetween indices parameters (the content heavy metals soil, time formation, air temperature soil moisture)was applied. Results. It shown plant species are usually affected by adverse factors stress. Therefore, they lose their stability phytomeliorative (reclamative/restorative) efficiency. Our calculations confirm there correlation initial indicators currentstate community.
